Mumbai Cable Ban

Disclaimer: What is written in this post is my thought. If it resembles any other living person's thought it is purely coincidental and not plagarism in any way.

A news item appeared in NDTV about Police Raids on Cable Operators in Mumbai because they were beaming films rated A and U/A. It is such a stupid move. I can understand if the cable operator guy is showing a new movie using a pirated VCD or DVD and you raid the place. You cannot blame the Cable operators because they are just beaming. The Broadcaster has to decide the content and he is the person who is responsible.

As far as movies are concerned every time a movie starts the details regarding the audience for whom the movie is meant is displayed.  I have seen this practice in HBO and Star Movies. I do not think Zee Cinema, Set Max, Sony follow this system.

I hope the Bombay police do not raid theatres saying they are showing movies certified A or U/A.

Come on guys you have a better job than raiding cable tv operators.

I think the police is over-burdened with work, lets us parents make this as our responsiblity, to control our children. We'll leave the police help protect us and our children from terrorist.

That is right anonymous. I think it is high time for the politicians to stop doing moral policing
