hotel near airport TurinBPI AND AIM AGREE TO EXTEND WORKING AGREEMENT


The two record industry trade bodies BPI (British Phonographic Industry) and AIM (Association of Independent Music) have agreed to extend their working agreement for a further year.

Perissa hotel roomsThe relationship will continue just as before, with both organisations working closely together to promote the best interests of the British record business.

BPI Director General, Andrew Yeates, said: "With the uncertainty surrounding the AIM/BPI relationship behind us, we can redouble our efforts on behalf of the industry at a time when we face some important challenges."

AIM Chief Executive, Alison Wenham, added: "This is good news for the membership of both organisations. It means they know that their specific concerns are being addressed by two organisations working closely together and focussed on serving the industry's best interests."
